The Joseph Angel House...

The Joseph Angel House is a miniature reproduction of a Victorian mansion that was located in the west hills of Portland Oregon. This finished house has 16 rooms and lots of nooks and crannies! It also has a wrap around porch, towers, a back kitchen entrance and two side entrances! Please click on the door to view the side entrances on the porch.

A view of the interior

This full interior view shows the basic layout of the Angel house. This house was one of my first houses--in other words, a house in which I learned from my mistakes!!!!! I learned what not to do with wiring, what not to do with wall placement---and a most valuable lesson....NEVER install any windows before the walls are completed!!!!! Several of the rooms are not clearly visible, particularly those in the towers. But let's start with the first floor.

Just click on the small picture of the kitchen to look at two full photos of the Noral Olson creation!

The Living Room...

The last room in the first floor is the living room. The room  has several areas of attention. Please click on the  small picture for a few details in the structure and design of this living space.

Now on to the second floor...

The Master Bedroom

The tiny master bedroom  is directly above the kitchen area. A full picture of the bedroom is shown below.

The lighting is by Ni-Glo. The table lamp ad chandelier are both hand painted glass. The truck and shoes are creations of Sylvia Roundtree, better known as The Doll's Cobbler. Questions? Be sure to email me!

The Music Room

The library is adjacent to the bedroom. It houses Oriental furniture and a den in the far recesses of the room. Like the dining room below, the library is narrow and deep. Furnished in dark furniture with dark bookcases, it is a restful room. Next to this room, and in direct contrast to it, is the Music room!

And the beat goes on.....

Up to the Third Floor....

Directly above the master bedroom is the guest room. It has been handsomely appointed with wicker furniture made by Rhea Strange. The bedspreads, covers and pillows have been created to match the blue and pink wallpaper. Although the room is somewhat cramped for space, it has an appealing cozy air about it! And as you can see, it is adjacent to...

The Nursery

The Nursery, always a favorite of mine, is packed with a few treasures.  Teddy bears, toys, gifts and a readable book are a few of the hidden items. In addition, there is a miniature origami set that is a real treasure. A young person about 10 years old made the full set in miniature for me!

And now on to the bath........

The Bathroom.....

The bathroom was completed in a pink and white. Please notice the picture on the wall. Below there are pictures in the stairwell

All of the pictures are of our family members. Each house that I have (miniature or otherwise!) has family pictures.... Now, to return to the projects page, please click here
